Telling Real-Life Stories in Comics Workshop with Sarah Mirk In-Person

From drawing memoir-style diary comics to illustrating zines about your political ideas, comics are a great medium for documenting your life and sharing your voice with the world. In this workshop, comics journalist Sarah Mirk will show examples of how to tell real-life stories in comics. She’ll show all kinds of examples of people drawing real-life stories and lead the group through writing exercises to create some quick comics on the spot. No amazing drawing skills required, everyone is welcome!
